FM Nirmala Sitharaman to address press conference today at 4 pm

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will address a press conference at 4 pm today.

In a tweet, the finance ministry said that the press conference will be a curtain raiser for the PM Garib Kalyan Rojgar Abhiyaan, Rs 50,000 crore worth public works scheme to provide employment opportunities to returnee migrant workers.

PM Narendra Modi will launch the scheme on June 20 from Bihar to boost livelihood opportunities for migrants returning to their home states.


This massive rural public works scheme will empower and provide livelihood opportunities to the returnee migrant workers and rural citizens, the government has said.
