Finance ministry assigns additional charge of IFCI DMD to Sanjeev Kaushik

NEW DELHI: Government has assigned additional charge of Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of IFCI to Sanjeev Kaushik, a 1992 batch IAS officer of Kerala cadre.

Currently, he is DMD of India Infrastructure Finance Company Ltd (IIFCL).

Malay Mukherjee CEO and MD and Achal Kumar Gupta DMD have ceased to be on the board of the company following completion of their tenure on December 11, IFCI said in a statement.

The Finance Ministry has assigned additional charge to Kaushik as DMD of IFCI, it said.

Kaushik, who will join the board of IFCI from tomorrow, has served as director financial markets in the Department of Economic Affairs in Finance Ministry.

He has been the Member Secretary of the committee to liberalise depository receipts, member of SEBI Committee on harmonisation of portfolio flows and a member of the SEBI Committee on disclosure and accounting.
