Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to talk on growth, reforms on 2-day economic conclave
FM Arun Jaitley had recently said government was committed to going ahead with reform measures to take India back to potential of 8% economic growth.

The theme of the conclave this year is 'Structural Reforms and Growth in India', an official release said today.
The conclave will see discussion on issues including Infrastructure and Growth, Changing Global Scenario: Growth, Trade and Reforms; Inclusive Growth and Agriculture, Manufacturing: Challenges and Reforms and State Capacity, Structural Reforms and Growth.
Jaitley had recently said the government was committed to going ahead with reform measures to take India back to potential of 8 per cent economic growth.
India's GDP growth slipped to 5.3 per cent in the second quarter ended September 2014 on poor performance by farm and manufacturing sector, after showing a two-and-half year high growth rate of 5.7 per cent in the first quarter(April-June).
Minister of State for Finance, Jayant Sinha will also participate in the two-day conclave.
Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister of State for Power, Coal and NRE, Piyush Goyal, Finance Secretary Rajiv Mehrishi, Chief Economic Advisor Arvind Subramanian, Former RBI governor Bimal Jalan and Former Rajya Sabha Member N K Singh, are among those expected to participate..
Bankers such as Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman of SBI; Deepak Parikh, Chairman, HDFC; V R Iyer, CMD, Bank of India and Yaduvendra Mathur, CMD, Exim Bank are also scheduled to participate.
