DPCC seeks rollback of CNG price

The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on Tuesday demanded immediate roll back of the increased CNG prices saying it would put further suffering to the commuters.

NEW DELHI: The Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC) on Tuesday demanded immediate roll back of the increased CNG prices saying it would put further suffering to the commuters.

"The unwarranted hike in the prices of the CNG was an insult to the people of Delhi, which the Delhi Congress will not tolerate as mute spectator. We will launch a massive public agitation if the Central Government does not take steps to bring back the CNG prices to the original level," DPCC President Subhash Chopra said here in a statement.

While condemning the price hike of CNG, the DPCC president alleged that the Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) was adopting double standard while increasing CNG prices. PTI
