NEW DELHI: The next in the series of Economictimes.com Power Breakfasts on Mission Critical Services will be held at Park Royal Hotel, New Delhi, on February 11. The event, which is being organised in association with Hewlett-Packard, is especially designed to identify India Inc’s business needs, translate them into strategies and develop a plan and robust implementation to help ensure business’ availability.
Says H-P Services country manager (marketing & strategy) Mr N M Sundaram, “It might be measured in thousands, or millions of dollars per hour, but the bottomline is that down-time costs money. Not only can it have immediate impact on the general productivity of staff who are unable to complete everyday tasks, it can also instantly impact profitability if sales are disrupted. H-P being a key player in the arena would like to share its experience through this platform. Decision-makers from manufacturing, finance, consulting and service industries will attend the event. H-P Services Asia Pacific vice-president (customer support) Wee Boon, Pepsi director (IT) Upal Chakraborty and IOC mission critical infrastructure Deepak Agarwal will be among the panelists. Every quarter, Power Breakfast deliberates on an issue relevant to business. Distinct from day-long seminars, the Power Breakfast meets are two-hour affairs, starting at 8.45 a.m.
