Delhi Govt signs MoU with RBI on UCBs

The Delhi Government on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Reserve Bank with the objective of upgrading human resources skills and technological infrastructure of Urban Co-operative Banks.

MUMBAI: The Delhi Government on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Reserve Bank with the objective of upgrading human resources skills and technological infrastructure of Urban Co-operative Banks.

A state level Task Force on UCBs has been constituted with H R Khan, Regional Director for RBI Delhi, as the chairman and U K Worah, Registrar of Cooperative Societies as co-chairman, RBI said in a release.

Earlier, similar MoUs have been signed with governments of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh, Goa, Maharashtra and Haryana.
