RBI's Central Board of Directors meet ahead of quarterly credit policy review on July 31.

CHENNAI: The Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank met here on Thursday to review key economic, monetary and financial developments ahead of the quarterly credit policy review on July 31.
While refusing to answer any questions from reporters after the meeting, RBI Deputy Governor Rakesh Mohan said the bank was looking at all the data ahead of the quarterly policy review in the month end.
The meeting was chaired by RBI Governor Y V Reddy. Besides Mohan, Deputy Governors V Leeladhar, S Gopinath and Usha Thorat were present at the meeting.
