Finance secretary S Narayan on Wednesday took a totally different tack when, at a Ficci meet, he told India Inc not to clamour for tax holidays to encourage investments.
In fact, when Mr Narayan hinted at removal of tax exemptions, it seemed he was in total agreement with the Kelkar proposals.
