Budget 2025 | Modi’s gift to the middle class; no income tax up to Rs 12 lakh
In Budget 2025, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced no income tax payable up to Rs 12 lakh under the new regime, offering significant relief to the middle class. The new tax slabs include 5% on Rs 4-8 lakh, 10% on Rs 8-12 lakh, and progressively higher rates for higher income brackets.
