Boost to manufacturing sector to trigger job growth: Home Minister Rajnath Singh
Home Minister Rajnath Singh said the NDA government was determined to ensure that the economy turns around for the better and become robust.

Addressing a function organised by Uday India, a weekly publication, Singh said it is with this objective the 'Make in India' initiative has been launched.
"This government means business, this government means reforms. We are doing our best," he said.

Singh claimed that the BJP-led NDA government headed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee between had made the economy so strong that it withstood the global economic recession.
He blamed the alleged misrule of the Congress-led UPA between 2004-2014 for India "losing" prominence globally.
"The NDA government under Narendra Modi will make India a economic super power," he said.
