Bhavya industrial parks application deadline extended

New Delhi: The commerce and industry ministry has extended by one month, to October 31, the deadline for applications under the second round of phase-I to develop industrial parks under the ₹33,660-crore Bharat Audyogik Vikas Yojana (Bhavya).

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) is inviting applications under the scheme in two rounds, it said in an office memorandum.

The Union Cabinet approved the scheme for developing 100 plug-and-play industrial parks across the country in March.

The extension of the application period for the second round was considered at the meeting of the National-level Steering Committee held on September 14.
