Bank of Punjab announces festive offer

private sector bank of punjab on thursday announced its festive offer of 0.5-1.5 per cent cut in the interest rates for home loans, apart from waiving off processing fee and guarantors for salaried class for november in view of impending diwali. the cut in interest rates are applicable for loans from rs one lakh to rs 50 lakh, a bank statement said here on thursday, adding that the interest rate cut would depend on the period. "we are offering special festive season schemes wherein all customers who approach the bank for a home loan can avail special festive offer and we are expecting a huge number of customers all over the country to benfit from these schemes," the bop executive director tejbir singh said in the statement. bop, established in 1995, has a turnover of rs 4,500 crore and has a network of 75 branches across the country.
