Ashok Chavan had to quit because of Adarsh scam: Ajit Pawar
MUMBAI: Senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar targeted former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan over the Adarsh scam, saying he had to quit because of it.

"Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at others' houses. If we throw a stone, their (Congress) house will collapse. They should always remember this," Pawar said.

He was addressing a campaign meeting for civic polls, in Nanded district last night.

"You (Congress) should feel ashamed," he added.

"Ashok Chavan was involved in Adarsh scam, as a result of which he had to step down as Chief Minister," Pawar alleged.

"Chavan should tell the masses the reason for his demitting office of Chief Minister," he said.
