Annapurna Yojana launch delayed; to be launched on April 25

Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Annapurna scheme to be launched today, has been postponed by ten days and it will now be launched from April 25.

BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's Annapurna scheme to be launched today, has been postponed by ten days and it will now be launched from April 25.

Under the scheme, wheat and rice would be provided to families living Below Poverty Line (BPL) at Rs 3 and Rs 4.5 respectively, an official release said.

Chouhan will inaugurate the scheme at the Lal Parade ground here.

On April 26, the scheme will be launched at all Divisional Headquarters of the state, except Chambal-Hoshangabad whereas on April 27, the scheme will be launched in rest of the districts of the state, the release added.
