All families in 3 districts of Madhya Pradesh linked to banking service
According to an official release, in Indore, bank officials have opened accounts of 2,79,184 families so far after the launch of the scheme.

From launch of the scheme on August 28, banks along with the state government officials in the three districts have opened new bank accounts of 4,38,265 families.
While 1,20,802 families were covered in Ujjain, 38,279 families were linked to banking operations in Khandwa.
According to an official release, in Indore, bank officials have opened accounts of 2,79,184 families so far after the launch of the scheme.
In Khandwa, 2,28,376 families already had bank accounts, while in Ujjain the number stood at 2,74,299. In Indore, a total 3,70,356 families already have bank accounts.
Now, not a single family in the three districts are left which are not linked to banking facility, it said.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan congratulated officials of Ujjain, Khandwa and Indore for this remarkable achievement.
Under the Jandhan Yojna, families which do not have a bank account will be linked to banking facility by January 26, 2015.
The account holders were also issued Rupay card after opening their bank accounts.
