ADRs make a comeback on home run

American Depository Receipts of Indian companies listed on the US bourses bounced back after being at the receiving end for two straight trading days.

MUMBAI: American Depository Receipts of Indian companies listed on the US bourses bounced back after being at the receiving end for two straight trading days.
At 9.15 pm IST, Infosys Technologies ADS rose 6.5% to $ 77.19 while Satyam Computer rose 8.8% to $ 18.25. Satyam Infoway rose 7.5% to $ 6.03.
ICICI Bank ADS shot up 8% to $ 12.49. HDFC Bank ADS vaulted 14.7% to $ 26.31.
Two India-dedicated closed ended funds, Morgan Stanley Indian Investment Fund (IIF) and Oppenheimer managed India Fund (IFN) rose 11.2% each in value to $ 21.35 and $ 21.74 respectively.
