ISP to power faster policy decisions with real-time services data: CEA Nageswaran
Chief Economic Adviser V. Anantha Nageswaran said the newly launched Index of Service Production (ISP) will enable faster, data-driven policymaking by providing timely insights into the services economy. He added that while the ISP currently measures volumes based on value data adjusted through deflators, its coverage will continue to expand going forward.
