West Bengal's longest free WiFi-enabled road to become operational

The step has been taken to facilitate IT professionals who travel along the road to their workplaces in Salt Lake and Rajarhat.

West Bengal's longest free WiFi-enabled road to become operational
West Bengal's longest free WiFi-enabled road will become operational on Tuesday. Free WiFi will be available over the entire stretch on Biswa Bangla Sarani, between its intersection with Eastern Metropolitan bypass on one side and VIP Road on the other via New Town covering a distance of 13.5km.

The step has been taken to facilitate IT professionals who travel along the road to their workplaces in Salt Lake and Rajarhat.

Free WiFi will also be available on Ring road. Till now this facility was available from VIP Road to Biswa Bangla Sarani intersection till Technopolis building in Rajarhat.

The facility will be extended till EM bypass on Tuesday. WiFi for the first half an hour will be free of cost and subsequently, the service will require one to pay. Free WiFi connection will help airport-bound professionals taking Biswa Bangla Sarani.

The thoroughfare is used by hundreds of IT professionals from their homes to their working place. The facility will help them along with students going to different educational institutions in New Town.
