Trams may ply in Old Delhi's Chandni Chowk
Trams may roll on the streets of Old Delhi's Chandni Chowk with Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation likely to approve project in its upcoming board meeting.

Representatives of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, which had earlier submitted a detailed project report, today gave a presentation to the AAP government detailing the specifics of the project.
"SRDC will hold its board meeting on Monday in which the project may be cleared," said a senior government official.
According to a DMRC official, they have proposed a 4.3 km tram-line in the congested Chandni Chowk area of which 1.6 km will have to be elevated due to lack of space.
