The Telangana government has allotted 8.5 acre of land on the outskirts of Hyderabad to an aerospace joint venture of Tata Advanced Systems and Boeing.

HYDERABAD: The Telangana government has allotted 8.5 acre of land on the outskirts of Hyderabad to an aerospace joint venture of Tata Advanced Systems and Boeing, where the two companies plan to set up an aerostructure manufacturing plant at an initial investment of Rs400 crore.

“The Tata-Boeing joint venture has approached us for land and we have initially allotted 8.5 acre at Adibatla where the Tata group has few defence and aerospace manufacturing facilities,” E Venkat Narasimha Reddy, vice-chairman and MD at Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Corporation, told ET.

The joint venture will commence operations over the next 12-15 months.
