Swachh Bharat mission: Swapna Srushti Horizon unveils Selan Eco Fast Toilet

AHMEDABAD: Swapna Srushti Horizon Pvt. Ltd., the Bhavnagar-based flagship company of real estate major Sheth Construction Group, on Thursday rolled out Selan Eco Fast Toilet. The modular toilets designed by a team of technocrats, the modular product is based on the technology of pre-stressed concrete, used in mass quantity production and ensures durability.

The move is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for Make In India and Swachh Bharat mission that has taken up the challenge to strive for a cleaner India and sanitation for all by the year 2019.

The uniqueness of the material lies in the fact that it helps reduce 60 % of total man hours needed when compared to conventional methods. The product design is ideal for usage in both urban and rural areas. Hence, a single toilet unit takes about 100 minutes to install and rules out investment in skilled manpower and maintenance costs. The modular design and ready-to-install feature in them also minimizes energy consumption as the gross amount of material consumption is less, the company said adding near four toilets could be installed by two people in a day.
