Selecto looks at $500 mn fresh raising
Selecto Systems Pvt Ltd, which is developing an IT SEZ Haryana Technology Park (HTP) in NCR, is looking at a fresh raising of 500 million dollars.

NEW DELHI: Selecto Systems Pvt Ltd, which is developing an IT SEZ Haryana Technology Park (HTP) in NCR, is looking at a fresh raising of 500 million dollars to fund its future infrastructure projects.
Located 3 kms from Delhi on NH2 in Haryana, HTP is a notified SEZ promoted by Selecto Systems Pvt Ltd and technically assisted by Paharpur Business Centre and Software Technology Incubator Park (PBC-STIP).
"HTP would be one of its kind environment friendly project and we are looking at similar projects once the SEZ is operational. We would raise 500 million dollars to fund our similar projects in future," PBC-STIP Chief Executive Officer Kamal Meattle said here.
He said the company would be working on similar environment friendly projects once HTP was operational by January 2010 but did not elaborate on the time frame by which the company was looking to raise this amount.
"The company is on an initial planning stage for future projects and we have not set any time frame for raising the amount. It can either be raised post the completion of HTP or even before that," he added.
HTP today signed a memorandum of understanding with Carrier Air conditioning and Refrigeration Ltd for the supply of energy efficient air-conditioning system.
"Carrier has been developing eco-friendly products and is producing consumer durables in compliance with Bureau of Energy Efficiency's (BEE) norms. We strive to provide the best cooling solution to create an environmentally sound world," Carrier India Managing Director Zubin Irani said.
Spread over 1.65 million square feet, HTP building will have the capacity to service 30,000 users from the IT, KPO and BPO sectors.
