Road Ministry to build elevated corridor on Delhi-Jaipur highway
The Road Ministry has proposed the 50:50 joint venture between the Centre and Haryana. The state government is yet to respond to that proposal.

According to sources, officials from the central and the state government have held first round of deliberations and something concrete may emerge when Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda meets Oscar Fernandes, Minister for Road Transport and Highways, on September 18.
The elevated corridor project at Gurgaon's busiest Hero Honda Chowk is likely to cost about Rs 900 crore, said the sources in the ministry.
The Road Ministry has proposed the 50:50 joint venture between the Centre and Haryana. The state government is yet to respond to that proposal.
This move comes in the wake of congestion at the Hero Honda Chowk in Gurgaon, which is also one of the busiest stretches on the Delhi-Jaipur highway.
The elevated corridor is also expected to address the traffic snarls within the city.
Meanwhile, in order to revive the highway sector, the government has allowed harmonious exit for the concessionaires in ongoing and completed National Highway Projects.
This move is aimed at expediting the implementation of development of road infrastructure in the country and insulate the NHAI from heavy financial claims and unnecessary disputes.
A large number of highway projects, including 20 major projects involving investment of Rs 27,000 crore, are stalled for various clearances.
