Ratan Tata arriving in Bihar to explore investment

PATNA: Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata is arriving here on September 21 to explore possibilities for investment in Bihar, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Monday.
During Tata's visit, the state government would make a power point presentation on investment opportunities in the state which, he told reporters here.
Tata is coming to the state for the first time after taking over as chairman of the Centre-appointed Investment Commission.
The Chief Minister said that besides meeting the senior officals and Bihar Industries Association representatives, Tata would also meet him.
"We definitely want the Tatas to make investments in Bihar and will ask him to project the state as an upcoming investment centre as there is very little trade unionism and land is avilable aplenty for setting up industries," Kumar said.
