Rajasthan Housing Board to expand operations to 100 towns
The Rajasthan Housing Board (RHB)is planning to expand its activities to 100 towns in the next five years.
While inviting the bids for introducing e-governance in its operations, the RHB said, "during the last 37 years Board has expanded its activities in 55 citites... In the next five years the Board is planning to increase its activities in 100 towns."
The RHB has so far as constructed around 1.82 lakh dwelling units, of which 1.74 lakh units have been handed over to the allottees.
In order to expand its operations in the Pink City and other towns of the state, RHB has invited Expression of Interest (EoI) for its e-governance project on built-operate- transfer (BOT) basis.
As part of the project, the selected bidders would be required to build a module for managing key areas such as on-line cash collection, assets management, estate management and planning and monitoring, in addition to developing finance and accounting systems.
The bidder would be required to prepare and maintain the complete project for a period of three years before handing over to the Board.
The RHB was set up as an autonomous body in 1970 by the Rajasthan government to fulfil the growing demand for housing in the state.
