Punj Lloyd bags Rs 1,100-cr highway development work in AP

Punj Lloyd today said it has bagged a Rs 1,100-crore order for highway development in Andhra Pradesh.

NEW DELHI: Infrastructure major Punj Lloyd today said it has bagged a Rs 1,100-crore order for highway development in Andhra Pradesh.

As per the terms of the order, bagged from GMR Hyderabad Vijayawada Expressways Ltd, Punj Lloyd will develop 116.5 km stretch of National Highway (NH) 9 between Hyderabad and Vijayawada on an EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) basis. The construction period is 27 months, the company said in a statement.

Earlier, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) had awarded the project on Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) Toll basis to GMR Hyderabad Vijayawada Expressways Ltd with a concession period of 25 years.
