Pratibha Ind bags order worth Rs 294.30 cr from UP Jal Nigam

The company has secured the contract of 'Meerut Water Supply Project' from UP Jal Nigam, Meerut.

MUMBAI: Infrastructure company Pratibha Industries today said it has bagged an order worth Rs 294.30 crore from UP Jal Nigam.

The company has secured the contract of 'Meerut Water Supply Project' from UP Jal Nigam, Meerut, Pratibha Industries said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The scope of work includes installation of water treatment plant, overhead tank and laying and commissioning of distribution system. The project is to be executed in 24 months including four months trial run, the filing added.

Shares of Pratibha Industries were trading at Rs 240.40 on the BSE, up 8.46 per cent from its previous close.

The shareholders of the company at their meeting held yesterday have approved in the scheme of amalgamation of H&R Johnson (India) and RMC Readymix (India) with the company, Prism Cement said in a filing to the BSE.

H&R Johnson (India) Ltd is a tile manufacturing company offering a wide range of wall and floor tile products across various segments and RMC Readymix (India) is the producer of ready-to-mix concrete.

Shares of Prism Cement were trading at Rs 40.70 on the BSE, up 1.24 per cent from its previous close.
