The majority of the projects fall under the Centre's rural connectivity programmes, as well as those of the state government. A government source said the PM will address a “mammoth rally“ in Udaipur while rolling out the projects.Arrangements are being made for a live telecast of the event at more than a dozen spots in the state. There are reports that the PM may also roll out various housing and development-related works across cities remotely from Udaipur.
The PM's visit and the number of projects being rolled out are significant as only a year is left for the assembly elections in Rajasthan.
