PM Modi to open 1.24-km, six-lane bridge over Brahmaputra in Guwahati, fuel Northeast growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the ₹3,030-crore Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu over the Brahmaputra, connecting Guwahati and North Guwahati. The 1.24-km, six-lane extradosed PSC bridge — the first in Northeast India — will cut travel time to seven minutes.
