Planning Commission to focus on infrastructure for next three years

Planning Commission will focus on infrastructure for the next three years of the 11th Plan period to fight the slowdown. It feels such steps will prevent job loss and create employment opportinities which have been hit hard by export slowdown. The focus on infrastructure will cover education, health, irrigation and power.
