ONGC gives money to build world class stadium

AGARTALA: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation ( ONGC) has given Rs 24.32 crore to Tripura government for building up a world class sports complex and stadium at Badharghat here, official sources said today.

Tripura government has undertaken a project of Rs 122 crore to develop a world class sports complex at Badharghat for which the ONGC has contributed the amount, an ONGC official told reporters.

Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, laid the foundation stone of the complex last evening in the presence of ONGC chairman Sudhir Vasudeva.
