MoU signed for Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor schemes

BHOPAL : A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was inked for the development and implementation of schemes to be developed in Madhya Pradesh as part of the proposed Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor.
The MOU was signed by Madhya Pradesh Trade and Investment Facilitation Corporation (TRIFAC) and Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation In New Delhi, an official release said here on Sunday.
On behalf of the state the MOU was signed by TRIFAC Managing Director, Praveen Garg, while for Union government it was inked by Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor Development Corporation, Director, Gopal Krishna.
Under the MoU, the projects would be identified which can be established on priority basis in the wake of implementation of the corridor project and a feasibility report of the same will be prepared soon.
Infrastructure-related schemes will be identified which will have far-reaching effects on the project. A master plan will be chalked out to get these schemes implemented through public-private-partnership.
Besides, TRIFACU will also take necessary action for providing special facilities, give approval, permits and licences and provide assistance in land acquisition for early bird Projects.
