Megha Engineering completes four water projects worth Rs 3,100 crore; two in AP, TS

MEIL, in a statement on Wednesday, said it has also completed a drinking water project in Tanzania in collaboration with the Tanzanian government in 18 months.
The company was also involved in the much talked about Pattiseema lift irrigation project in Andhra Pradesh, a river linking project connecting Godavari and Krishna rivers in the state. “From a technological perspective, this is the largest lift irrigation project completed in Asia,” the company said in its statement. The project was completed in 12 months.
The Hyderabad headquartered infrastructure firm has also constructed a Rs 548 crore water grid project in Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s constituency Gajwel to provide drinking water to 67,000 households, apart from maintaining the project for 10 years.
