Kerala to set up IT parks in all districts

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala government has decided to set up IT parks in all districts other than Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi, where Technopark and Infopark are located, Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan said on Monday.

Replying to a submission by A Pradeep Kumar (CPI-M) in the assembly, he said that a 68-acre area covering Nellikode, Kovoor and Palazhi in Kozhikode district has been identified for setting up an IT park.

An expert team led by IT secretary had visited the spot and found that it was an ideal location for the IT park, he said, adding that further steps were being taken for the implementation of the project.
