Japan agrees loans to the tune of Rs 7158

Japan has agreed to provide loans to the tune of Rs 7158 crore for four major infrastructure projects.

Japan has agreed to provide loans to the tune of Rs 7158 crore for four major infrastructure projects.

The projects that will get JICA loan include Delhi Mass Rapid Transport System (Rs 4061 crore).

The other projects getting Japanese aid are Guwahati drinking water supply project (Rs 1,538 crore); Dharmapur-Krishnagiri drinking water supply proejct (Rs 893 crore); and Kerala drinking water supply project (Rs 664 crore).

Agreement for the Japanese aid commitment to these projects was signed today.
