IVRCL Group turnover exceeds Rs 2500 cr in 2006-07

HYDERABAD: IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects Ltd (IVRCL) turnover crossed the Rs 2500-crore mark during 2006-07 at Rs 2518 crore, a rise of 47 per cent over last year.
The consolidated PAT of Rs 168.9 crore against Rs 107.8 crore for the previous year indicated an increase of 57 per cent, IVRCL Chairman and Managing Director E Sudhir Reddy said in a release here Monday.
The Board of Directors recommended a 50 per cent dividend that is Re 1 per share of Rs 2 each.
The company on stand-alone basis achieved a turnover of Rs 2346.5 crore for the financial year 2006-07 as against Rs 1521.4 crore for the previous fiscal, a growth of 54 per cent.
The earning before interest, depreciation, taxes and amortisation (EBIDTA) rose 70 per cent from Rs 140 crore in the previous financial year to Rs 237.5 crore in 2006-07.
The PAT increased by 53 per cent from Rs 93 crore to Rs 141.5 crore in 2006-07, Reddy said.
The company's acquisition of Hindustan Dorr-Oliver (HDO) has resulted in great advantage for both the companies and the operations of HDO have been streamlined to include execution of contracts on EPC basis as well, the release said.
IVR Prime Urban Developers Ltd (IVR PUDL), the urban infrastructure subsidiary of IVRCL, recorded a revenue of Rs 147.8 crore for 2006-07 as against Rs 136.8 crore in the previous year. Its net profit rose from Rs 11.7 crore to Rs 21.3 crore in 2006-07, the release added. PTI CPB VGG
