IVRCL bags Rs 608 cr orders in Jharkhand, Gujarat

IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects Ltd on Monday bagged Rs 608.10 crore orders for power and water distribution projects in Jharkhand and Gujarat.

MUMBAI: IVRCL Infrastructures and Projects Ltd on Monday bagged Rs 608.10 crore orders for power and water distribution projects in Jharkhand and Gujarat.

In a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange, IVRCL Infra said it has bagged Rs 469.46 crore order from Jharkhand State Electricity Board to complete three projects for power distribution, which would be completed within 12-18 months.

The projects to be funded by Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd under Rajiv Gandhi Grameena Vidyudikaran Yojana (RGGVY) scheme consists of three packages of Rs 185.31 crore, Rs 130.74 crore and Rs 153.41 crore, it added.

In Gujarat, IVRCL Infra has secured water distribution network projects, valued at a total of Rs 138.64 crore, under Jamnagar District Distribution Network Project in the state.

This order consists of water distribution network projects to be executed in Jamjodhpur and Bhanvad taluka for Rs 37.50 crore, Khambhalia and Kalyanpur taluka for Rs 56.70 crore and Kalavad and Lalpur taluka for Rs 44.44 crore.

Last month, IVRCL Infrastructures and projects had secured a Rs 388.16 crore contract for irrigation related works in Telegu Ganga project and Rs 343 crore worth orders in West Bengal, Karnataka and Bihar.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 447, down 0.60 per cent on the BSE.
