ITD bags Rs 893 cr Delhi Metro contract
ITD Cementation India shares soared over 16% after the company, along with its promoter, Italian-Thai Development Public Company of Thailand has bagged a contract worth Rs 893 crore from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
At 1PM, the share was up 16.44% at Rs 470 on the BSE. So far, the stock has seen a high of Rs 484.35 and low of Rs 405.55.
The project is scheduled for completion in 35.5 months and will cover a distance of over five kilometers of underground metro construction with tunnel boring machines.
This is the second contract awarded to the joint venture by Delhi Metro Rail. It is already executing a contract worth Rs 188 crore for the elevated corridor on the Qutub Minar - Gurgaon corridor.
