MUMBAI: IRB Infrastructure Developers is upbeat on orders visibility from the National Highways Authority of India and aims to bag road projects for another 200-300 km by March under the ‘build-own-operate’ (BOT) model, Virendra Mhaiskar, chairman and managing director, told ET.

In May, the company bagged the Rs 2,650-crore Agra-Etawah Bypass project from the NHAI under the BOT route. The company said its construction order book stands at around Rs 9,650 crores as of now.

“Our order book gives us revenue visibility for 2-3 year. We see a robust pipeline from NHAI which gives us confidence to stay invested in road projects,” Mhaiskar said.

IRB is an infrastructure development and construction company. As a developer, it has 20 road BOT projects in its kitty out of which 14 projects are already operational.

On Wednesday, the company reported total income of Rs 1,179 crores in the quarter ended September, up 29% from a year ago. Its profit after tax in the period was 22% higher year-on-year at Rs 149 crores.
