International Convention Centre to be set up near Bangalore airport
A sophisticated International Convention Centre will come up near the Bengaluru International Airport, Karnataka Minister for Tourism G Janardhana Reddy said on Thursday.

BANGALORE: A sophisticated International Convention Centre will come up near the Bengaluru International Airport, Karnataka Minister for Tourism G Janardhana Reddy said on Thursday.
The government has identified 35 acres of land for the project involving an investment of Rs 300 crore, he told reporters here. The Convention Centre with a state-of-the-art auditorium, five-star hotel and other facilities were expected to be ready in about three years time, he said. Reddy said the work on metro rail to ease traffic congestion in the city was under progress.
