India keen to build quality infrastructure in Tajikistan: Nitin Gadkari

Both countries have agreed to enhance economic cooperation, particularly in sustainable water development, said Gadkari.
India has offered to build quality infrastructure in Tajikistan, including dry ports and highways. Minister for road transport, shipping and water resources Nitin Gadkari extended the offer to Tajikistan’s foreign minister Sirodjidin Muhridin during his two-day visit to the country’s capital Dushanbe.

Gadkari said: “New Delhi is willing to share Indian expertise in building quality infrastructure with Tajikistan. Both countries have agreed to enhance economic cooperation, particularly in sustainable water development.”

The minister also updated Muhridin on the Chabahar port that India is building in Iran.
