IL&FS Engineering Services bags Rs 242.5 crore road contract in Karnataka

MUMBAI: IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company has bagged a road contract from Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of Karnataka worth Rs 242.56 crore.

The project involves widening of two and four lane with paved shoulders for a part stretch between Bidar to Humnabad on the NH-50 on an engineering, procurement and construction basis. The job is scheduled to be completed in 24 months.

IL&FS Engineering Services is also executing a metro rail contract in Karnataka for Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation for a value of Rs 326.99 crore.
