NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh government has asked the Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (IDFC) and Feedback Ventures to identify suitable urban transport solutions and development projects to be executed through public-private partnerships (PPP) in 100 days.

The bankable projects to be identified by these companies under their India Infrastructure Initiative (Triple-I) would be implemented through the PPP in Lucknow and Kanpur, according to a Feedback Ventures release here.

"Triple-I is already catalysing PPP projects worth Rs 6,400 crores in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in sectors such as power, water, airports, SEZs and urban development. I am pleased to see that Triple-I is now starting work in Uttar Pradesh," the release quoted IDFC PPP Head Shailesh Pathak as saying.
