IDFC to identify PPP projects in UP
The UP government has asked IDFC to identify suitable urban transport solutions and development projects.
The bankable projects to be identified by these companies under their India Infrastructure Initiative (Triple-I) would be implemented through the PPP in Lucknow and Kanpur, according to a Feedback Ventures release here.
"Triple-I is already catalysing PPP projects worth Rs 6,400 crores in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh in sectors such as power, water, airports, SEZs and urban development. I am pleased to see that Triple-I is now starting work in Uttar Pradesh," the release quoted IDFC PPP Head Shailesh Pathak as saying.
