HSIIDC to set up dwelling units for industrial workers
The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corp has decided to construct dedicated housing complex for industrial workers within the Industrial Model Township at Manesar.

CHANDIGARH: The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corp has decided to construct dedicated housing complex for industrial workers within the Industrial Model Township at Manesar.
The corp has decided to develop 192 single room dwelling units and 36 dormitory units for industrial workers within the Industrial Model Township at Manesar, an official spokesperson said here on Monday.
HSIIDC has invited applications from the entrepreneurs of the fully operational industrial projects of IMT Manesar for allotment of these dwelling units, the spokesperson added.
The tentative cost of a dormitory unit with a covered area of 84.55 sq mts had been fixed at Rs 15 lakh, whereas a
single room dwelling unit covering 28.66 sq mts would cost around Rs 3.80 lakh.
The allotment would be made on a deferred payment scheme wherein the applicant would pay 10 per cent with the application, 15 per cent after allotment and balance 75 per cent in five equated half-yearly installments carrying nominal interest.
Besides the industrial plots, IMT Manesar had dedicated sectors for housing, institutional and commercial activities, he said.

IMT Manesar with its infrastructure of international standards had attracted a large number of multinational companies as their manufacturing base, he said.Besides the industrial plots, IMT Manesar had dedicated sectors for housing, institutional and commercial activities, he said.
