Adani awards Rs 4,971 crore project for Ganga Expressway to HG Infra Engineering

HG Infra Engineering Gets Letter Of Award From Adani Road Transport on Tuesday. HG INFRA project of 151.7 km six lane (expandable to eight lane) Greenfield `Ganga Uttar Pradesh Expressway' costed 4970.99 cr.

HG Infra Engineeringhas received the Letter of Award “(LOA) from Adani Road Transport for execution of civil & associated works on EPC basis for development of an access - controlled six lane greenfield Ganga Expressway.

The project with length of 151.7 km has a total cost of Rs 4970.99 crore.

The completion period will be 820 days from the appointed date to be declared by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority.


The Ganga Expressway, billed as the country’s longest, will link Meerut in the northwest of Uttar Pradesh to Prayagraj in the state’s east.

According to a report, Adani is in talks with SBI to raise Rs 12,000 crore for the project.

Adani won the project last year to build three stretches of the 594-km Ganga Expressway.
