NEW DELHI: The government will take up fresh requests for setting up special economic zones, which have emerged as major sources of exports, on June 8.

"The meeting of the Board of Approval on Special Economic Zones (SEZs), to consider proposals for setting up of SEZs and other miscellaneous requests, is scheduled to be held on June 8," a Commerce Ministry official said today.
