NASHIK: With a view to boost tourism in India, the government should provide adequate infrastructure, Director of Kesari Tours said.

"Government should provide infrastructure to develop tourism. "Incredible India" showing on electronic media is not sufficient," Veena Patil told reporters here.

Following Gujjar agitation in Rajasthan and in various parts of the country, tourists have suffered a lot as all possible modes of transport were affected, she said.

Citing an example of Dubai, Patil said that tourism has been given immense consideration by the government there by creating artificial sight-seeing spots. Even China has done the same.

Meanwhile, Kesari Tours has decided to launch short tours to Singapore, Malaysia and Dubai for people.
