Footwear Park inaugurated at Bahadurgarh

Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda assured that Bahadurgarh town would be developed as industrial town on the pattern of Gurgaon so that maximum employment opportunities could be generated in the state.

BAHADURGARH: Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda assured that Bahadurgarh town would be developed as industrial town on the pattern of Gurgaon so that maximum employment opportunities could be generated in the state. This was stated today by the Chief Minister after inaugurating the Footwear Park constructed at a cost of Rs 60 crore over an 615 acres of land here today.

Hooda said that in the first phase of industrial development at Bahadurgarh a sum of Rs 22.40 crore had already been incurred.

He said that 247 plots in sector 16 and 368 plots in sector 17 had already been allotted to the entrepreneurs in which investment of Rs 1009 crore would be made besides 28,000 people would get employment opportunities.

He said that during the second phase, sector 18 would be developed, while for the development in the third phase, the process of land acquiring in sector 43 was going on.

He said that Haryana was the first state in the country in the per capita with investment of Rs 78500. He said that five years ago the state was on the 13th position in teh per capita investment.

He assured the entrepreneurs that the power problem of the State would be solved within next two years as a number of schemes of power generation had been launched in the State.

After the generation of 5000 MW of power no shortage of power would remain. The total power generation in the State was 1587 MW while over 2000 MW power was available with other sources as against demand of 6000 MW.
