Five-Star hotel to come up on Government circuit house land

AMRITSAR: Government circuit house and PWD Rest house sprawling in two acres of land in the city will be demolished to make way for a Five-Star Hotel.

Punjab Infrastructure Regulatory Authority Chairperson Tajinderpal Kaur said the land has been handed over to private players under the ' Public Private Partnership' scheme.

In the Five-Star Hotel building "a suitable space" will be given to the new circuit house.

Kaur said the new circuit house will be constructed in the Five-Star Hotel building by the private firm at its own cost.
