Essel Infraprojects appoints Ashutosh Agarwala as chief financial officer

NEW DELHI: Essel Infraprojects Limited said it has appointed Ashutosh Agarwala as chief financial officer.

Agarwala will be instrumental in screening and examining acquisition opportunities, identifying new business prospects, raising long-term funds for the group companies and conducting comprehensive business diagnosis.

"Ashutosh’s joining the company clearly highlights EIL’s commitment towards acquiring new talent across domain expertise," Essel Infraprojects’ CEO Ashok Agarwal said.

Prior to joining Essel Infraprojects, Agarwala was president, finance and chief financial officer at Reliance Power Limited. He started his career with ICICI Bank Ltd and later worked in companies including United Phosphorus Ltd, Nagarjuna Fertilisers & Chemicals Ltd, Aditya Birla Group, GMR, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd and Essar Steel India Ltd.
